My inspiration comes from the desire to convey good design and draftsmanship.

I find that soft pastels allow me to draw and paint simultaneously.

For several years my subject matter has been the human form. I prefer placing the figure in an environment and working in a series in order to develop one idea more completely.

My work has been included in several publications concerned with design, working process and color.
